Q: How do i go a head with a booking
A: Once you have looked at the
availability/costs and
conditions sections you need to
contact me at
imperialpark2007@ice-uk.freeserve.co.uk to double check the
price/availability ask final questions etc. If everything is ok then
Confirm to me by mail include a signed set of conditions from website with the necessary front/back pages filled in. Please put in the email "Read and Approved"
If the booking date mentioned is within 10 weeks of the date then:
- immediately make a bank transfer (Sort 30*93*## Ac 01899743 where ## is in the confirmation mail from me) off a cheque for 100% of the cost mentioned above a guarantee amount (see below). Note booking is ONLY made when money received/cashed in my account and this is confirmed by me). It is important you email me when you make the transfer so i can check it
If date mentioned is greater than 10 weeks of date cheque is received, then:
- immediately transfer (as above) 20% of the cost mentioned above with a minimum of £100 . Note the full booking is ONLY made when remaining money received/cashed in my account and this is confirmed by me. Please mail me when you make the transfer as above. Also note that if you wish to pay the full amount including the guarantee in one go this is also fine
AND
- 10 weeks before the dates send me the remaining 80% plus a guarantee amount (see below)
In both cases the guarantee amount is £100 or 10% (which ever is the greater).
I prefer payment via the internet but in exceptional circumstances it can be made to S.Campbell and all information addressed to 37 Crewe Road, Haslington, CREWE, CW15QR. Note it is not possible to accept payment by Credit Card
In both case you will get a confirmation by me of funds and conditions received but then all will go quiet unless you have questions. Then around 1 week before the date of arrival i will mail the complex to say you are coming and copy you. You should print this mail and take with you in case there are any problems. When you arrive at the complex simply go to the reception, present the mail, and you will be given the key
Q: How far is the bungalow away from the
pools?
A: Around 1 minutes walk (all flat)
Q: Do we need to supply are own linen /
towels
A: There is enough provided for 6 people change over is according to the following:
For 1 week lets you don't need to do anything. | |
|
For >1 week lets you will receive need to put all dirty bedding/towels through the washing machine yourself, dry and iron. There is also a laundry service in down and the cost is around 20E for 6 beds |
Q: Is there a washing machine
A: Yes. There is also a pay-dryer in the games room
Q: Is there a terrace / balcony
A: On the lower level there is a terrace which is in an
L-shape around the bungalow. It is around 2 meters wide and around 10
meters long. There are plants, a table with 6 chairs and 2 loungers.
On the upper story there is a balcony which is around 1 meter wide and 4 meters
long. Perfect if you want to be topless...but not visible!
Q: Is there satellite TV
A: The hotel provide some satellite channels including BBC
World.
Q: Are there DVDs
A: There is a DVD player which is available as part of a
normal rent. There is also a 'library' of DVD - around 50.
Q: Are there Books
A: There are loads there in the cupboard
Q: What is the access
for physically impaired people
A: The bungalow is roughly level with the hotel reception complex and there is path
behind the bungalow row which is entirely flat and suitable for, for example,
wheelchair/pushchairs access. There is one small step up to the terrace
and bungalow at the very end. The lower floor contains a twin
bedroom. Access to the hotel reception from the main road is up a
relatively steep, short hill and is not suitable for wheelchairs. There is
a lift in reception which takes you down to the restaurant layer and cafe
bar. Access to the polls is on the -1 level and up a ramp
Q: Do I have to wash-up
A: Yes! At the end of the stay if there is washing up that
the cleaner has to do...you will be charged at the rate she charges me plus a
management fee...you have been warned!
Q: Do I have clean up the surfaces,
toilet etc
A: Yes! This is a holiday home and not a package
holiday-fest. If there is any cleaning beyond that which is reasonable you
will be charged for it as above. The reason owners like myself can charge
better rates is that we put more faith in our 'clients' to be reasonable and
treat the property like home.
Q: Do you provide Beach
Towels?
A: Sorry no. In addition towels (or anything else) can
not be taken from the apartment but can be rented from Reception
Q: What if i
break/loose something minor like a cup or glass
A: If minor is something defined in the subsequent list
then there is a 'honesty box' in the apartment. Please leave something in
there a note to say what was broken. List of minor items: Cutlery,
Glasses, Cups, Utensils. A full pricing sheet
is also available in the apartment and on the web to give you guidance of the
costs.
Q: What if i break/loose something
minor - can i replace it with something different
A: It all very nice you leave me the 20 pounds Lilo, or
the voucher for a family of 200 at Terra Mittica...but actually i/others have
these or can get them easily but what they/we prefer is another cup to drink out
of.....get the message :-)
Q: Is there a
telephone?
A: Yes but it can accept incoming calls only. You
can call to reception. There are payphones in reception. Best bet
for making calls is to get a calling card from town and use the payphones.
Q: Can we only book 7, 14, 21.. days?
A: You can book any interval you want. If its <7 days
there will be a 'surcharge' on the price to cover the extra hassle of
changeover/cleaning, above 7 then i really dont mind how many and above around
15 i give discounts for long lets. Above a month i also give greater
discounts but expect 'self' cleaning/washing which is generally what most people
prefer to do in these cases.
Q: What do i do when i get there?
A: Go to reception and get a key. You will either
need to show an email i send you in advance or i will have pre-notified
reception. They will give you a single key for the door. You will also get a temporary
access card. If you wish to have private parking behind the barriers
also get a barrier pass for which a small charge is made
Q: Are we entitled to participate in hotel
activities like kids/adult entertainment
A: Yes
Q: How frequent is the entertainment for
the kids
A: This depends on the schedule set by the hotel part.
During High season there were activities roughly for 2 hours in the morning
and for another 2 in the afternoon for 6 days a week. Also in the evening
there is a kids mini-disco for around 3/4 hour. There is also entertainment
during other periods such as Easter
Q: How frequent is the entertainment for
the adults
A: This depends on the schedule set by the hotel part.
During High season there were a (payable) BBQ and Tapas evening [NB We
think going to town is better value for money/better food], a keyboard player
each evening during most of the year, a dancer/magician/acrobat on for a day each week. Also quizzes.

A: Around 2km - 2-3 minutes drive. Not walkable exce[t
as a leisure stroll
